YOUNG WOMEN IN PUBLIC
AFFAIRS AWARD (YWPA)
Established in 1990, the Young Women in Public Affairs Award honours young women in secondary level or pre-university schools, age 16 to 19, who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in public policy, government and volunteer organisations
The programme operates at the local Zonta Club of Guildford, as well as District and International levels. Zonta clubs provide awards for Club recipients, and District and International awards are funded by the Zonta International Foundation
Zonta Guildford Club winners receive £250 (GBP). District winners receive $1,000 (USD), and ten international winners are selected from the district winners to receive awards of $4,000 (USD) each
Additionally, in District 29 of which Zonta Club of Guildford is part, the District winner gets EUR 1,000, the second gets EUR 500 and the third place gets EUR 300

CLUB DEADLINE
Applications for the Young Women in Public Affairs Award must be received by the Club each year by 1 March. The international recipients will be chosen by 1 July each year
JANE M KLAUSMAN WOMEN IN
BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP
Established in 1998 from a generous bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York USA, and the 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian, the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing undergraduate or master’s degrees in business management
The programme operates at the Zonta club, district and international levels. Zonta Club of Guildford does not presently provide awards for Club recipients. Zonta International awards scholarships of US$1,000 each at the district level and twelve international scholarships in the amount of US$7,000 each. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded annually and may be used for tuition, books or living expenses at any university, college or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees

CLUB DEADLINE
Applications must be completed and submitted to the Club by 1 June. International recipients will be chosen by mid October each year
AMELIA EARHART FELLOWSHIP
Established in 1938 in honour of famed pilot and Zontian, Amelia Earhart, the Amelia Earhart Fellowship is awarded annually to women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering. The Fellowship of US$10,000, awarded to 35 Fellows around the globe each year, may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields
This program only operates on international level

DEADLINE
Applications for the Fellowships must be received by Zonta International or post-marked by 15 November to be considered. Applications that are incomplete or late due to postal delays will not be considered. For questions, please contact programs@zonta.org
Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are not eligible to apply for any of the Awards or Scholarships
