Zonta Club Guildford supporting the North Guildford Foodbank
In November 2017 and February 2018 we worked together with volunteers from the North Guildford Foodbank sorting and labelling donations which were generously made to the North Guildford Foodbank
The Zonta Club of Guildford supports many local and international charities. Every year members nominate a number of charities from which we select two charities to support over a period of two years

Your Sanctuary
We are providing donations and support for a fundraising event in Send Prison. Your Sanctuary helps women and men who are victims of domestic abuse and you can read more here at Your Sanctuary
Seeds for Development
This charity is kicking poverty out of Northern Uganda through education, empowerment and farming and you can read more here at Seeds for Development

HomeStart supports and provides friendship and practical help to families and children facing challenges around mental and physical health, disability, post-natal depression etc. The donations the Zonta Club of Guildford made have provided funding for training places for volunteers - you can read more at Home Start

The Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre Guildford provides support to anyone affected by rape or sexual abuse in Surrey - read more here at RASAC
Michael Varah Memorial Fund
The Michael Varah Memorial Fund Supports projects to help transform the lives of those marked by crime and hopelessness. The fund supported work in Send prison locally, to develop the women’s art work

Provides a supportive environment for women who want a second chance in education through access to HE diplomas
Chase Africa
Chase Africa are empowering women in East Africa through access to family planning enabling them to choose the number and spacing of their children
Amnesty International
We have supported Amnesty International over many years with letter writing

Created awareness of Female Genital Mutilation through film showings and discussions in many universities (including Oxford and Cambridge)
